About Centering Prayer

Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, prayer in which we experience God's presence within us. It's rooted in the ancient Christian practice of contemplation and helps us deepen our relationship with Christ through interior silence.

Walking Prayer

Sacred spaces for prayer through walking meditation

The Labyrinth

Located directly behind the church building

The labyrinth is an ancient pattern found in many religious traditions. Unlike a maze, there is only one path to the center and back out. Walking the labyrinth can quiet the mind and open the heart to contemplation.

Contemplative Path

Located behind the Rice Street Community Garden

A peaceful outdoor path for walking meditation and prayer. The Contemplative Path offers a natural setting for reflection and encounter with God's creation.
