Pray Twice

Music & Arts

"Those who sing pray twice" — St. Augustine

A Tradition of Excellence

St. Philip's has a long-standing tradition of excellent music. Our musical mission enriches worship and reflects the many ways people love to pray in song from the Anglican tradition and beyond.

Whether you're an experienced musician or just beginning, there's a place for you in our music ministry.

Chancel Choir

Our Chancel Choir provides choral music for the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service and special services throughout the year.

Under the direction of Dr. Brittnee Siemon, the choir sings a wide variety of music from the Anglican choral tradition, including anthems, hymns, and service music that enhances our worship.

Taizé Worship

Taizé worship features prayerful, meditative music that serves as musical centering prayer. Simple melodies repeat, moving prayer from head to heart.

This contemplative form of worship creates space for silence, candlelight, and the gentle repetition of sacred songs. Taizé services are offered periodically throughout the year.
